Reading
How do I go to a book or chapter?
Open the Bible tab and tap the chapter title at the top. Choose Old or New Testament, then a book, then a chapter. The arrows at the end of each chapter take you to the next or previous one.
How do I jump straight to a verse?
In Search, type a reference such as “John 3:16” or “Psalm 23” and tap “Go to”.
How do I change the Bible translation?
Tap the translation button (BSB, WEB, or RV1909) next to the chapter title, or go to Settings → Bible. Your highlights and notes stay attached to each verse whichever translation you read.
Why do some verses say “Not found in the earliest manuscripts”?
The Berean Standard Bible leaves out a small number of verses that do not appear in the oldest manuscripts, such as Matthew 17:21. The World English Bible includes them.
Why are some words in italics?
In the Reina-Valera, italics mark words the translators added so the sentence reads naturally.
How do I make the text bigger or use night mode?
Tap “Aa” in the reader, or open Settings. Choose a text size, and pick Vellum (light), Vigil (night), or Match my device.
Highlights, notes, and sharing
How do I highlight a verse or add a note?
Tap any verse while reading. Choose a highlight colour, or tap Note, Bookmark, Copy, or Share. Everything you save appears in the Saved tab.
How do I share a verse as an image?
Tap a verse, then “Share as image”. Pick the Dawn, Vigil, or Vellum style and tap “Share image”. You can also share the verse of the day from the Today screen.
How does the reading streak work?
Opening a chapter on a day counts toward your streak. The Today screen shows your streak and this week’s days.
Your data
Are my highlights and notes backed up?
They are stored on your device and are included in your phone’s own backups (iCloud or Google backup) if those are turned on. Wordhaven has no accounts or cloud sync, so they don’t move between devices by themselves.
Does Wordhaven collect my data?
No. There are no accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking. See the privacy policy.
